Dr. Alina Greiner has successfully been accredited as a mental health first aider. In the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course Alina learned techniques to identify risk factors and warning signs and reach out and provide initial help and support to students (and others) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
As MHFA writes, „When more people are equipped with the tools they need to start a dialogue, more people can get the help they need“. The University of Mannheim continues to offer courses for (teaching) staff.
