Welcome to Ryan Block

Ryan Block will be joining our team as a visiting PhD student. Ryan is a fifth-year PhD candidate at Rice University in the Department of Political Science, and  will be visiting the Chair for the 2025/26 academic year. His research focuses on comparative political behavior, specifically partisan identity, political parties, and public opinion. Prior to his graduate studies, he received a B.S. in Political Science from Texas A&M University.
