The Internship Office of the School of Social Sciences

The Internship Office provides you with a wealth of useful information about internships and starting your career. It will assist you in finding suitable internships at home and abroad and advise you on writing your applications. In addition, you can access our internship and job database to search for job vacancies at various companies. Please see our calendar for current events of the Internship Office.

Services provided by the Internship Office

  • Teaching in the career development module in the bachelor’s programs in Political Science and Sociology
  • Advising students on internships, voluntary services, and career opportunities at home and abroad
  • Issuing proof of the mandatory internship for employers at home and abroad
  • Concluding national and international internship cooperations with companies
  • Updating and maintaining internship and job databases (job vacancies for students and graduates from programs in Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology)
  • Support in preparing and correcting application documents in German and English

Students are welcome to contact the Internship Office if they have any questions on the mandatory internship, internships abroad, or their application documents. We also invite employers to send us any open internship positions at their company or institution.
