Internships are part of the curriculum in both the bachelor’s program in Political Science and the bachelor's program in Sociology at the School of Social Sciences. They enable students to gain professional experience at an early stage of their career and establish valuable corporate connections. You can create a mandatory internship certificate yourself via AretUM.
The Internship Office will help you find a suitable internship position and assist you in applying and preparing for it.

If you want to do an internship, some internship employers require a mandatory internship certificate. This is a proof that you have to complete an internship during your studies. You can now create the mandatory internship certificate yourself via AretUM. Together with a current certificate of enrollment, you can present this certificate to your internship if required. You can also use AretUM to edit your learning agreements for a semester abroad.
Students are welcome to contact the Internship Office if they have any questions on the mandatory internship, internships abroad, or their application documents. We also invite employers to send us any open internship positions at their company or institution.
