Survey: How Does Transfer Shape Your Daily Work?

The University of Mannheim, in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim, is conducting a survey on the topic of transfer as part of the TransforMA project. The goal is to gain a better understanding of transfer activities, consolidate them, and further develop them.

Transfer, for us, is any active collaboration between university and society, hands-on cooperation with businesses and industry as well as dialog on topics such as sustainability, learning through engagement (“service learning”) or science for laypeople (“citizen science”). To optimize existing measures, the survey aims to identify relevant experiences, challenges, and development potential.

Participation and Process

The survey is open to all employees of the University of Mannheim, regardless of whether they have been involved in transfer activities before. If certain questions are not relevant, participants will be redirected accordingly within the questionnaire.

  • Duration: Completing the survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes.
  • Voluntary participation: Participation is entirely voluntary.
  • Data protection: All responses are anonymized and will only be analyzed in aggregated form.

Significance of the Results

The results will provide valuable insights into the transfer strengths of both universities and contribute to the targeted development of transfer structures.

The survey is open until 28 February 2025 and can be accessed via the following link: https://umfragen.hs-mannheim.de/limesurvey/index.php/131969?lang=en
