Job Advertisement: Student Assistant

The Chair of Financial Markets and Financial Institutions (Prof. Dr. Oliver Spalt) is looking for a student assistant starting from April/May 2022. Professor Spalt is internationally renowned for his high-quality research and offers relevant and practical teaching at University of Mannheim.

A student assistant’s tasks at the chair include data collection, the generation of datasets, data analysis, literature research, and proof reading.

Requirements

• You are enrolled in a master’s programme at University of Mannheim. We also encourage students from the economics and information systems programs.
• You are available for at least 9 months.
• You have worked with a statistical package or a programming language, e.g., Stata, Python, or R.
• You are familiar with the standard applications of Microsoft Office.
• You have good English language skills.
• You work independently and you are flexible.
