Laptops Required: Foundation Collects for Students in Need |

For some students at the University of Mannheim, access to essential technical resources such as a personal laptop is an unattainable luxury. While laptops can be borrowed, return deadlines and waiting periods are an additional obstacle in an already challenging academic routine – a particularly acute problem when it comes to submitting assignments and preparing for exams.

To ensure that all students at the University of Mannheim have equal opportunities for a successful academic career, the University of Mannheim Foundation is calling for donations of new or working laptops. The laptops will be given to students who are unable to afford a computer of their own.

How you can help
If you have a new or working laptop that you no longer need, the Foundation would be grateful for your donation. Please contact Sabrina Scherbarth at scherbarthmail-stiftung-uni-mannheim.de or by phone at +49 621 181-1223. She will take care of the donation process.

Alternatively or in addition, you can support the initiative with a financial donation. Please use “Laptop Students” as the reason for your transfer. For more information, please visit the Online Donation page.
