Kick-Off-lecture of the international workshop “Interacting with everyday technologies across the lifespan”

The Leibniz Institute for the German Language cordially invites you to the kick-off lecture by Prof. Dr. Stephan Habscheid (University of Siegen) at the opening of the international workshop “Interacting with everyday technologies across the lifespan”.

The public lecture titled “Smart speakers with voice user interfaces in private households – Verbal interaction and hybrid exchange as a means of media domestication ” will take place on November 20, 2024 at 16:00 in the lecture hall of the IDS (R 5, 6–13, 68161 Mannheim) and will deal with selected results of an empirical research project on media practices in dealing with so-called smart speakers in the domestic environment. The lecture will be held in English, registration is not necessary.
