Application Open: Faculty Mobility Grant 2025

Researchers from Baden-Württemberg can now apply for the Faculty Mobility Grant 2025, which supports research stays in the U.S. state of Oregon. The program aims to strengthen academic collaboration. Application deadline: 1 April.

Since 1968, the state of Baden-Württemberg and the U.S. state of Oregon have maintained an academic partnership, facilitating transatlantic exchange for students and researchers. As part of the Baden-Württemberg/Oregon State Program, the Ministry of Science, Research, and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg provides funding to support academic exchange.

Funding for Research Stays in Oregon

The Faculty Mobility Grant supports research stays for scholars from Baden-Württemberg at partner institutions in Oregon, USA. The goal is to strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions in both regions, expand academic networks, and advance research projects.

Applicants must demonstrate an affiliation with a higher education institution in Oregon or provide proof of a specific research project that will be pursued during their stay. The grant provides funding for a temporary academic position at the host institution.

Application and Deadlines

Applications for the Faculty Mobility Grant 2025 can be submitted in German or English starting immediately. The application deadline is 1 April 2025. The planned research stay must be confirmed by 30 June 2025, and communicated to the Oregon Study Center Germany.
