Marc Debus becomes editor-in-chief of the Politische Vierteljahresschrift (PVS) |

From 1 January 2026, Prof. Dr. Marc Debus will take over as editor-in-chief of the Politische Vierteljahresschrift (PVS) for an initial period of three years – the first time in the history of the journal that this position has been based at the University of Mannheim.

Prof. Dr. Marc Debus will take over as editor-in-chief of the German Political Science Quarterly for an initial term of three years starting on 1 January 2026. The PVS is the journal of the German Political Science Association (DVPW) and is ranked among the Q1 journals in the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) based on its citation figures. This is the first time in the history of the PVS that the editorial office will be based at the University of Mannheim.
