Prof. Dr. Irena Kogan appointed as leading representative to the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz |

Prof. Dr. Irena Kogan was admitted to the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz for her research on social integration and inequality.

As a leading representative of her field, Prof. Dr. Irena Kogan has been accepted into the Akademie der Wissenschaften und der Literatur Mainz. The academy elects a maximum of 50 full members per class and promotes young scientists, international cooperation and the cultivation of science, literature and culture. Kogan supervises international projects such as CILS4EU and the ERC-funded PARFORM project. She says of her acceptance: ‘Being appointed to the Academy is a great honour for me. I look forward to promoting interdisciplinary discourse on social integration and inequality.’
