Announcement of the professorship
The professorship will be advertised publicly. The advertisement will contain details of the profile, responsibilities and application procedures.
Receipt and formal review of the application
After the application deadline, the documents received will be formally reviewed. The appointment committee will then carefully review all applications.
Preselection by the appointment committee
The Commission will select suitable candidates based on the documents submitted.
Invitation to an audition
Selected candidates will be invited to an interview.
This usually includes:- an academic presentation
- discussions with members of the faculty (student council, etc.)
- other academic or structural exchange formats, if applicable.Assessment and expert opinion
The appointment committee assesses the candidates' professional qualifications and then draws up a list of candidates for appointment. External comparative assessments are obtained.
Decision in the committees
The appointment proposal will be discussed and decided upon by the relevant university committees.
Appointment and appeal proceedings
Once the committee procedures have been completed, the appointment is made by the Rectorate.
Appointment negotiations are then conducted.End of procedure: Call acceptance
The faculty attaches great importance to a structured and transparent procedure. The parties directly involved are informed of the status of the procedure at all times.
