Our teaching particularly addresses students in Master of Education. Our aim is to convey knowledge in how to deal with heterogeneity in academic contexts. Beyond that, we put emphasis on conveying knowledge about methods in empirical educational research in order to stress the importance of quantitative research methods for providing an answer to scientific questions. Moreover, methodical knowledge can be useful for promoting prospective teachers’ data literacy.
For this purpose, our courses are designed according to didactic principles such as problem-based and situated learning.
