Prof. Dr. Georg W. Alpers and his team warmly welcome you. Our research and teaching programm is primarily concerned with emotions in the context of psychological disorders, their associated physiological processes and psychotherapeutical interventions. Our research combines biopsychological, neuroscientific and social scienes methods.

Together with the psychological out-patient clinic at the Otto-Selz-Institute of the University of Mannheim we aim to closely link research, teaching and practice.
