Profile
Andrew Zola is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Macrosociology since August 2025. His research areas include comparative social policy and international political economy, and he is currently investigating how popular support for the welfare state and redistribution is influenced by social change since the postwar era. Prior to joining the Chair, he completed his PhD in Sociology at the Center for Research on Social Inequalities (CRIS) and the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP) at Sciences Po Paris in November 2025. He also holds an MA in Sociology from Sciences Po Paris and a BA in Economics-Political Science from Columbia University.
