David Schweizer is a doctoral candidate at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS) of the University of Mannheim and joined the Chair of Political Science, Comparative Government at the University of Mannheim in September 2021. He holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) of Munich and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Goethe-University of Frankfurt am Main.
His research interests center around party competition, political agenda setting and intra-party politics. In particular, he is interested in climate change, European politics and European integration.
