Manuel Neumann studied at Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen (GER), University of Tasmania, Hobart (AUS), and the University of Mannheim (GER). He got his Master’s Degree from the University of Mannheim in summer 2019. After his graduation, he started working as a Doctoral Researcher in the DFG-funded project “The Conversations of Democracy. Citizens' Everyday Communication in the Deliberative System” (CoDem) at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research. His research interests lie in the fields of political communication, social behavior, media effects, and populism.
