The Chair of Social Stratification researches questions of social inequality and social change in modern societies. Our teaching and research focuses on the topics of health, social networks, and religion, which we approach from a structural perspective. In addition, we deal with social science data collection and analysis methods, especially in the context of open science.
We cooperate closely with the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES) and with GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences.
