Alexander is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Professorship for Statistics and Methodology at the University of Mannheim. He is also affiliated with the International Program in Survey and Data Science (IPSDS), the Collaborative Research Center SFB 884 Political Economy of Reforms at the University of Mannheim, and the Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER) at the University of Essex. He currently serves as Committee Member of the European Survey Research Association (ESRA).
He received his PhD in Survey Methodology from the University of Essex in 2018 and his BA in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz in 2014. During his PhD he was a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan.
