    Academic Career

    Anna-Carolina Haensch received her Bachelor Degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Munich (LMU). After that, she completed the Master in Survey Statistics at the Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg. During her studies, she worked as a student assistant and tutor at the Chair of Empirical Political Research and Policy Analysis at the LMU Munich, as well as a student assistant at the Leibniz-Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi e.V.) in Bamberg. She wrote her Master thesis at the Institute for Employment Research in Nürnberg.  

    Since 2017, Anna-Carolina Haensch is a researcher at the GESIS Institute, where she works on the DFG funded project “HaSpaD – Harmonizing and synthesizing partnership histories from different research data infrastructures. A model project for linking research data from various infrastructures”. In 2019, she joined the International Program in Survey and Data Science (IPSDS) Team as a research assistant. She also enjoys teaching courses on quantitative research methods at the University of Mannheim.
