    As part of the research project (HAREBE), Anne-Sophie Waag does research in the fields of course evaluation, test development and validation. She has developed two questionnaires to assess student’s subjective competence perception and their evaluation of the course content within experience based.

    Furthermore, she explores possibilities to assess and promote theory-practice-reflection within teacher education. Thereby, not only suitable measurement instruments are explored and tested (questionnaire, portfolio, and vignettes test) but also specific course formats (complementary seminar to the first school internship in Bachelor of Education) are further developed and evaluated.

  • Biographic Information

    Anne-Sophie Waag completed her Bachelor (2010 – 2014) and Master (2014 – 2017) of Science in Psychology at the University of Mannheim.

    Since September 2016,she is working as a research assistant at the Chair of Education Psychology at the University of Mannheim in a project funded by the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. The project aims at promoting, evaluating and professionalizing innovations within higher education (HAREBE project).

    Since March 2018, she is working on her dissertation with the title „Assessment and promotion of theory-practice-reflection competence in pre-service teachers“. Since December 2018, she holds a doctoral scholarship from theHans Böckler foundation.

  • Teaching

    In the summer term 2017, Anne-Sophie Waag got a lectureship for the complementary seminar to the first school internship in Bachelor of Educationof the University of Mannheim.

    From October 2017 to March 2019, she had a lectureship for the module learning and developmental psychology in the study program Social Work – Integration management at the University of Applied Management Studies Mannheim.

    In the summer term 2019, she conducted the seminar „Teaching and learning with digital media” within the Master of Education at the University of Mannheim.

    Since May 2018, she attends didactical training courses of the Center for Higher Education Didactics Baden-Württemberg to obtain the Higher Education Didactic Certificate. So far, she attended following courses:
