Jobs for Student Research Assistants at the BA or Master Level

We offer interesting and demanding jobs for students at the BA or Master Level in Political Science for our project work at the chair.

The Chair's research is mainly rooted in the area of comparative political science and legislative research with a focus on Europe. Methodologically, most activities center around empirical testing of institutional theories on political bargaining and decision-making. As a student research assistant, you support ongoing research projects of Professor König and his team. In particular, student research assistants help us to collect and manage datasets with Stata and R. We expect a strong interest in quantitative data analysis and political science research generally. A background in Comparative Politics, European Union Politics or International Relations is preferred. A strong command of English is mandatory as well as some prior experience with data management/analysis. We offer active participation in research projects and flexible working hours. The working language can be English or German, however, a good command of English is required. Students with no prior experience in R will have the opportunity to learn this programming language in their work time.
