Dr. Meike Bonefeld (Bachelor and Master of Sociology and PhD in Psychology) is academic staff member at the Assistant Professorship of Quality of Instruction in Heterogeneous Contexts at the University of Mannheim.
In her research, she deals with questions on the teacher's professionalization in the context of the demands of the migration society and focuses in particular on the pedagogical action and judgment formation of teachers as well as reflection and evidence orientation in school and teaching. In addition, she is involved in the MORAL project at the IDeA Center, where she is exploring approaches for training pedagogical professionals in dealing appropriately with social exclusion among children and adolescents. Since 2021, Meike Bonefeld has been responsible for the areas of “Teacher Professionalization” and “School Development” at the Mannheim Regional Center of the SchuMaS Research Network.
