Felix Schulte studied political science, sociology and history in Eichstätt, Linköping and Heidelberg. Since October 2018, Felix Schulte is a post-doctoral researcher at Heidelberg University, and since September 2021 also at Mannheim University. Previously, he was an PhD candidate and assistant lecturer (Lehrbeauftragter) at the University of Heidelberg. He held visiting positions at the Åland Island Peace Institute and the Institute for Minority Rights at the European Academy, Bolzano. His research focus is on regional identities and national minorities, self-governance and power-sharing as well as cultural conflicts and escalation dynamics.
