Mannheim Internship Program

Exclusive opportunities for Social Sciences students

The Mannheim Internship Program (MAP) offers students at the School of Social Sciences of the University of Mannheim exclusive internships during the semester break. Please note that some internships continue beyond the semester break and may clash with your courses.

  • When does the application period start?

Internship vacancies are always published in the fall semester; you can apply for them via the Internship Office. In the 2019 fall semester, applications are accepted in September. The internships will take place between January 2 and February 7, 2020. Some internships for the spring semester 2020, which will take place between June 15 and September 4, 2020, will also be published at the same time.

The application period for the MAP program in the fall semester starts in September 2019.

  • What does the application process look like?

The application process is coordinated by the Internship Office only. Your application should include all relevant documents (e.g., cover letter, curriculum vitae, high school diploma, current transcript of records, internship or employment certificates). Please attach them to an e-mail as a single file and send them to: map.praktikum(at)sowi.uni-mannheim.de. We only accept e-mail applications. Please always address your application to the contact person given in the job posting.

In case you have any questions regarding the application process, please contact the internship manager Gesine Götze.
