  • Research Interests

    • Effects of early relationship and interaction experiences on child development, especially in relation to attachment, emotions and psychopathologies
    • Parent-child interaction, especially dyadic affect regulation and parental relationship experience
    • (transgenerational) effects of peripartum depression, anxiety disorders and traumatic experiences
    • Postpartum bonding and bonding disorders
    • Psychobiological (cortisol, alpha-amylase, heart rate variability) and neuroendocrine correlates (oxytocin) of social interactions
    • Couple interaction as a predictor of parental interaction behaviour and child development
