Christoph Steinert is a PhD Candidate at the Doctoral Centre in Social and Behavioral Sciences (CDSS) at the University of Mannheim. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Oxford (Somerville College). His research focuses on political imprisonments and post-conflict contexts with an emphasis on post-conflict justice. Christoph worked as a data analyst for the Global Multidimensional Poverty Index and he interned at the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. Christoph taught at the Oxbridge Summer School and he gained research experience at the Oxford Institute of Ethics, Violence and Armed Conflict and the German Institute of Global Area Studies. Christoph published his research in Journal of Peace Research, German Politics, and BMC Psychiatry.
