Felix Olsowski is a PhD candidate at the Doctoral Center in Social and Behavioral Science (CDSS) at the University of Mannheim. He holds a Bachelor’s as well as a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Mannheim. Throughout his studies, Felix worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Comparative Political Behavior and for the Professorship for Political Science/ Conflict Studies. In addition, he gained research experience during an internship at the Center for Military History and Social Sciences of the German Armed Forces in Potsdam.
Felix worked as an editorial assistant for Sabine Carey at the American Political Science Review. His main research interests are in the fields of armed organizations, state repression, and democratization.
