The Annual Workshop of the German Association for Peace and Conflict Studies Methods Working Group  will be held at the University of Mannheim on 9-10 October 2017. The topic of this year’s workshop is mixed methods application to questions of peace and conflict. The goal of the workshop is twofold:

(1) reflecting on the challenges and advantages of applying mixed-methods, and

(2) discussing how this approach can best be presented in a publishable format.

The workshop includes a talk by Prof. Sabine Carey, PhD, Associate Editor of the American Political Science Review on publishing mixed methods research. The workshop program is available here .

We are happy to announce that the workshop is kindly supported by the German Development Institute.  The workshop is organized by Prof. Dr. Lilli Banholzer, Anna-Lena Hönig, and Adam Scharpf.
