Belén González and Adam Scharpf will participate at the “Tactics in Conflict” Workshop that will be held 27-28 July 2017 at Konstanz. The workshp is co-organized by Professor Kristian S. Gleditsch (University of Essex) and Dr. Belén González (University of Mannheim). Belén and Adam will be presenting the following papers:

IC2S2 2017 is organized by GESIS in Cologne July 11-13 2017.

Adam Scharpf receives 2017 Stuart A. Bremer Award

Adam Scharpf is the recipient of the 2017 Stuart A. Bremer Travel Award. The Award is presented by  the Network of European Peace Scientists (NEPS). It seeks to enhance the exchange of scientific findings between young European and American Peace Scientists. Each year one European graduate scholar is invited to attend the North American conference of the Peace Science Society. Adam receives the Award for his paper on the political and military determinants of US foreign military training.
