Belén González is presenting today at the “Democratic Governance in Latin America Workshop” organized by the SFB. The paper co-authored with Sabine Carey is titled “The Benefits and Costs of Concessions: Explaining the Lack of Escalating Violence in the Chilean Democratic Transition” and it presents results from the RATE field work to Chile in the fall of 2015.

The American Political Science Association (APSA) has announced a new editorial team for The American Political Science Review (APSR). It consists of Thomas König (University of Mannheim) as lead editor, and the co-editors Sabine Carey (University of Mannheim), Thomas Bräuninger (University of Mannheim), Ingo Rohlfing (University of Bremen), Kenneth Benoit (LSE), Leigh Jenco (LSE), and Benjamine Lauderdale (LSE).
