Sabine Carey will be participating in the following roles:

  • Presenting the paper, with Neil Mitchell and Adam Scharpf, “The Composition of the Security Sector and the Duration of Counterinsurgency Campaigns”
  • Participating in the ISA Nominating Committee Meeting as well as in Board meetings of the International Studies Review and the Journal of Global Security Studies

Adam Scharpf will present his paper “Regimes, Organizational Rivalry, and Repression in Counterinsurgency Wars” at the AFK-Kolloquium 2016, 03.03.-05.06.2016, in Bonn. He will participate in the panel on “New Empirical Approaches in Peace and Conflict Research”, which is organized by Nils Weidmann (Universität Konstanz).
