Sabine Carey and Adam Scharpf presented a co-authored paper with Neil Mitchell (University College London) at the Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association in Chicago at the end of August 2013. The paper explored the impact of pro-government militias on the duration of armed intra-state conflict.
