Paulina

Paulina Pospieszna, who has been working at the Lehrstuhl since August 2011, accepted a new post at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at the University of Poznan, Poland. She will take up an Assistant Professor position that will start in October 2013.

Hannah Smidt will pursue her doctoral degree in Political Science at the University College London (UCL). She will be doing research on how peacekeeping affects election-related violence. Her PhD studies will be fully funded by the Graduate Research Scholarship of UCL.

 

 

Anna-Sophie

Anne-Sophie Lockner will pursue her Masters degree at the University College London (UCL).

 

 

 

Lisa BoglerLisa Bogler has left Mannheim to study at the University of Nottingham for one semester. She will return in the Spring.

 

 

 

sarahSarah Bressan has left Mannheim to study in South Korea for one semester.

Anastasia Ershova has joined the Lehrstuhl and will be teaching two courses on “International Organizations”, and “Global Issues and Contemporary Challenges” for Bachelor students in the Winter Semester 2013.

 

 

 

Anna-Lena Hönig has joined the Lehrstuhl and will be teaching a “Proseminar” on International Relations and Contentious Politics in the Winter Semester 2013.

 

Mareike

Mareike Forchheim has joined the Lehrstuhl as a research assistant. She undertaking her M.A. studies in Political Sciences at the University Mannheim

Professor Michael Colaresi from Michigan State University has joined the Lehrstuhl as guest professor for the months of August and September 2013. During his time in Mannheim he will be working with Sabine Carey and teaching a PhD course on Time Series Analysis.
